The Core Definition

A Mesh-Native app is built from the ground up for distributed inference, local-first storage, and multi-device orchestration within the DOSFI Mesh network. It differs from traditional cloud-only apps by keeping logic and data close to the user's devices — routing intelligence across the mesh instead of centralizing it in a data center.

The Mesh-Native Exchange provides the economic layer that settles routing, storage, inference, and privacy enforcement across the global mesh using Vital — a compute-backed Distributed Intelligence Unit with a fixed hard cap of 10,000,000,000 Vital.
