Mesh-Native Smart Garden
Monitor soil, humidity, and light sensors across a garden using distributed device nodes.
What you'll build
Vertical stack context: DOSFIUniversity (research) → DOSFI Academy (this course) → MeshNativeExchange (publishing & monetizing). Students progress from Learning → Building → Publishing → Monetizing. The Mesh-Native Smart Garden module provides a comprehensive implementation of a local-first environmental monitoring system using the DOSFI ecosystem. Participants will architect a system that integrates soil moisture, ambient temperature, and light intensity data into a distributed Mesh-Native environment. By leveraging DIU subsystems and the Identity Fabric, the lab demonstrates how to manage granular sensor telemetry while maintaining strict adherence to Privacy Tier configurations and local Routing Policy enforcement.
Skills you'll practice
- Architect a sensor-to-DIU telemetry pipeline.
- Implement local-first State Machine logic for garden resource management.
- Configure Mesh-Native Routing Policy for multi-node data synchronization.
- Apply Identity Fabric credentials to sensor data bundles.
- Integrate MeshInfer for real-time environmental analysis.
Before you start
- Foundational understanding of DOSFI Node architecture.
- Experience with YAML-based Bundle Schema configuration.
- Basic knowledge of the MNE (MeshNativeExchange) message bus.
- Working familiarity with Vital subsystem telemetry structures.
