Mesh-Native Wildlife Monitor
Deploy sensor nodes to monitor wildlife activity and aggregate data across the mesh.
What you'll build
Vertical stack context: DOSFIUniversity (research) → DOSFI Academy (this course) → MeshNativeExchange (publishing & monetizing). Students progress from Learning → Building → Publishing → Monetizing. This module provides a comprehensive implementation guide for the Mesh-Native Wildlife Monitor, a research-oriented application leveraging DIU clusters for field data collection. Learners will architect local-first data pipelines, configure MeshInfer for edge-based classification, and establish secure Identity Fabric boundaries for wildlife telemetry data. The curriculum covers the lifecycle of sensor telemetry from the Transport Layer through MNE-based synchronization.
Skills you'll practice
- Design and deploy a DIU-based sensor monitoring workflow.
- Implement local-first State Machine logic for intermittent telemetry.
- Configure MeshInfer parameters for wildlife identification at the edge.
- Define Routing Policy for multi-tier data distribution in high-latency environments.
Before you start
- Foundational knowledge of Mesh-Native architecture.
- Understanding of Identity Fabric authentication workflows.
- Experience with YAML-based component definition.
