DOSFI Basics: Identity, Routing, and Privacy Tiers
Learn how DOSFI manages distributed identity, schedules workloads, and enforces privacy tiers across mesh nodes.
About this course
Vertical stack context: DOSFIUniversity (research) → DOSFI Academy (this course) → MeshNativeExchange (publishing & monetizing). Students progress from Learning → Building → Publishing → Monetizing. This course gives developers and enterprise learners a deep understanding of DOSFI — the operating system layer of the Distributed Intelligence Stack. You will learn how @dosfi.ai identities are structured, how the DOSFI scheduler routes work to the right nodes, and how privacy tiers let users control which devices participate in their mesh. This course provides a foundational exploration of the DOSFI ecosystem, covering the architectural relationship between Identity, Routing Policies, and Privacy Tiers within a Mesh-Native environment. Learners will establish a baseline understanding of DIU operations, Transport Layer mechanics, and the MNE exchange protocol, enabling the secure deployment of distributed applications.
What you'll build
- Define the structural role of the DIU within a Mesh-Native environment.
- Configure basic Routing Policies for service communication.
- Implement Privacy Tiers to control data propagation.
- Understand the interaction between the Identity Fabric and state synchronization.
Prerequisites
- Basic knowledge of distributed systems architecture.
- Familiarity with JSON-based configuration schemas.
- Understanding of fundamental network transport protocols.
