About this course

Vertical stack context: DOSFIUniversity (research) → DOSFI Academy (this course) → MeshNativeExchange (publishing & monetizing). Students progress from Learning → Building → Publishing → Monetizing. MeshInfer is the inference fabric of the Distributed Intelligence Stack. This course teaches you how MeshInfer selects nodes, routes inference tasks, handles multi-node pipelines, meters compute, and reports usage to the Vital settlement layer. No prior AI experience is required. This course provides a comprehensive architectural foundation for MeshInfer, the core subsystem for distributed inference and compute metering within the DOSFI ecosystem. Learners will examine the interaction between DIUs and Vital, explore the lifecycle of an inference workload, and implement standard compute metering policies.

What you'll build

  • Explain the architectural relationship between DIU and the Vital telemetry subsystem.
  • Configure basic MeshInfer Routing Policies for workload distribution.
  • Execute compute metering using the MNE exchange protocol.
  • Verify state machine transitions during inference processing.

Prerequisites

  • Foundational understanding of the DOSFI Identity Fabric.
  • Basic knowledge of the Bundle Schema structure.
  • Familiarity with standard Mesh-Native Transport Layer operations.
