Capstone: Build a Full Mesh-Native Application
Architect, design, and deploy a production-grade mesh-native productivity application.
About this course
Vertical stack context: DOSFIUniversity (research) → DOSFI Academy (this course) → MeshNativeExchange (publishing & monetizing). Students progress from Learning → Building → Publishing → Monetizing. This capstone is the final milestone for DOSFI Academy certification. You will engineer a task management application that operates natively across a mesh infrastructure. We move beyond standard client-server models to focus on DIU-based (Distributed Intelligence Unit) state synchronization, mesh-native routing policies, and secure data partitioning. You will produce a complete technical specification and implementation plan for an application that respects sovereignty while leveraging the collective compute power of the mesh.
What you'll build
- Design a distributed state management schema for task entities.
- Define routing policies using DOSFI mesh primitives.
- Implement DIU-driven synchronization logic.
- Configure multi-node distribution manifests.
- Validate application sovereignty and compliance.
Prerequisites
- Proficiency in Distributed State Machines
- Understanding of Mesh Routing Protocols
- Experience with DIU Lifecycle Management
