Lab: Debug Mesh-Native Apps Using Public Observability Tools
Learn to debug mesh-native applications using the public DOSFI observability toolkit — inspect events, trace data flow, diagnose schema mismatches, and resolve runtime errors.
What you'll build
Vertical stack context: DOSFIUniversity (research) → DOSFI Academy (this course) → MeshNativeExchange (publishing & monetizing). Students progress from Learning → Building → Publishing → Monetizing. In this lab, you will learn to debug mesh-native applications using the public observability tools provided by the DOSFI SDK. You will inspect event logs, trace data flow across the mesh, diagnose schema validation errors, and resolve common runtime issues. This lab is entirely practical: you will work with a deliberately broken application, identify each defect using public debugging tools, and fix it.
Skills you'll practice
- Use the SDK event inspector to view sent and received events
- Trace data flow across the mesh using tracking IDs
- Diagnose and fix schema validation errors
- Interpret public error codes and resolve runtime failures
- Build a debugging workflow for mesh-native applications
Before you start
- Completion of 'Lab: Your First DOSFI SDK Call' or equivalent SDK experience
- Completion of 'Lab: Build a Mesh-Native Todo App' or equivalent schema experience
- A DOSFI Academy account with an @dosfi.ai identity
